We are very proud of all our badger athletes who worked hard and put work in day after day and we are overjoyed to see that even more of our Badgers have been recongized for their talent and excellent sportsmanship by the conference. We have three more players to add to the list those are, Ida Eames, Jordan Pelland, and Bella Masi.
Statement from the NAC: Selection to the Sportsmanship Team is reserved for those who have distinguished themselves through demonstrated acts of sportsmanship and ethical behavior. The honorees have positively affected the sport's culture and game environment by clearly demonstrating sportsmanship and integrity beyond the rules and etiquette.
Ida Eames: Ida is a freshman and was an explosive addition to the women's soccer team. Ida is a foward and was a core component of the team's offense leading the team in goals with 4. With a total of 13 shots 9 of them were on goal given her shot on goal percentage of a very impressive .692% If she found an opening to attack it was likely to hit the back of the net. Her offensive skills lead her to earn her conference recongition and earned a spot onto all conference third team. This is well deserved award for Ida, congratulations and we are excited to see how she grows and improves from here.
Jordan Pelland: Jordan is a graduate student and midfielder for the women's soccer team. She's a great centerpiece of leadership and offensive agression always pushing through and trying to send the ball up field and not hesitant to go for the shot. Always keeping the pressure up. Jordan's skills and leadership has earned her the all conference recongition as she earned herself a spot onto the all conference third team. This is a well deserved award and we want to thank Jordan for all her hard work and dedication to the team, Congratulations Jordan.
Bella Masi: Bella is a junior and a defender for the women's soccer team. Bellas is a very important defensive anchor on that end of the field. But more so than that she has demonstrated great sportsmanship and and etiquette throughout the season. Because of Bellas great sportsmanship and attitude she has earned a spot on the all conference sportsmanship team. Bella is always positively affecting her teammates with her great attitude and treating her opponents with respect. This was a well deserved award and we are very proud of Bella showing and leading the team with great sportsmanship and core values of the Badgers, congratulations Bella.
We are very proud of these three players for earning recongnition from the conference and we are excited to see how everyone improves and continues to push past their limits to better themselves. Everyone Keep working hard and continue to be the best version of yourself.
