Brittney Love, a Center Midfielder from Fair Haven Union High HS will join the Johnson Badgers women's soccer program in the fall.  

First freshmen commit of the Fall 23 -24 class.

Club team: Saratoga Wilton Soccer Club U19

High School: Fair Haven Union High School

Soccer Awards/Honors: 4 year all state first team, 4 year all league first team, player of the year in all Divisions.

Projected major at NVU-Johnson: Early Childhood Education

What are you looking forward to most about NVU-

Johnson: Being able to take my game to the next level, and to become part of a family.

Favorite Athlete: Carli Lloyd

Favorite team: 2015 woman's national team

Most memorable athletic moment: bringing my team to double over time into the state championship game.

What do you want people to know about you?

"I'm very competitive, driven, and passionate about my game and academic's. I love to push my teammates. I'm so excited to become a badger this fall!" 

Coaches Notes: 

Brittney is technically skilled player, with a high soccer IQ who is also a fantastic and fit athlete. She is an uber competitor who hates to lose - never quits or stops working on the field. The kind of competitor we want here, she makes teams better with her attitude. Without question she is one of the top players in Vermont and I'm thrilled she is going to be a Badger.
