Freshman Bryan Hickey - NAC Co-Rookie of the Week

JOHNSON, Vt. - Johnson State freshman forward Bryan Hickey (Barre, Vt./Spaulding) has been named North Atlantic Conference Co-Rookie of the Week for helping spark the Badgers to a 2-1 week.

Hickey, currently undecided, averaged 8.7 points, 3.7 rebounds, 1.3 steals, one assist, and shot .526 (10-19) from the field and .750 (6-8) from the free throw stripe during the week in helping JSC to wins over St. Joseph (Vt.) and U. Maine-Augusta.

Hickey's week was highlighted by his 14-point, seven rebound performance in the Badgers 62-59 home win over St. Joseph (Vt.).  Hickey is averaging 6.2 points, 2.7 rebounds, while shooting 41% from the field and 69% from the free throw line for the young season.

Hickey and the 2-4 Badgers will conclude their first semester schedule with a non-conference tilt at Massachusetts College of Liberal Arts (MCLA) on Saturday at 4:00 pm.
