Men's Basketball Adds David Jordan for 2020-2021 Campaign

JOHNSON, Vt.-The Northern Vermont University-Johnson men's basketball program and Head Coach Miles Smith have announced an additional commitment for the 2020-2021 season.

David Jordan of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania has signed the necessary paperwork and is expected to attend Northern Vermont University-Johnson in the fall of 2020. A student-athlete at Abington Friends School located Jenkintown, PA, Jordan plans to pursue a degree in accounting when arrived at NVU-Johnson.

"I am extremely excited to join the Badger men's basketball program. I hope I can come in and make an impact," said Jordan. "I chose NVU-Johnson because of the recruiting process. I've heard through many of my other coaches that Coach Smith takes extremely good care of his players and pushes them to succeed both in the classroom and on the playing surface".

Jordan will make an immediate impact in the backcourt for the Badgers and Coach Miles Smith is excited to see Jordan's growth over the course of his career.

"David Jordan will be a great addition to our program," said Smith. "His ability to shoot the basketball and defend is something that will be much needed for us this upcoming season. We have a lot of guys that can attack the basket who are also great passers in transition, so David will be able to help us space the floor. He is another student-athlete that is committed to the overall student-athlete experience."

Head Coach Miles Smith and the NVU-Johnson men's basketball program plans to announce additional commitments in the near future.
