David Deschenes tallied a program record 13 points as Becker College defeated Johnson State 23-2 in non-conference men's lacrosse action Sunday afternoon. The win lifts the Hawks record to 4-1, while the Badgers fall to 0-2.
Jeffrey Candee and Anthony Jordan combined to make three saves between the pipes.
Matt Dekens and Ryan Belen found the back of the net for Johnson State. Freshman goalie Jay Palmisano made 25 saves.
Becker returns to action on Wednesday, March 19 when they begin GNAC play against Daniel Webster College at 4:00 p.m. Johnson State will travel to Maine Maritime on Saturday, March 22 at 12:00 p.m.
