The Eagles struck early in the match when Brian Loiselle (Bangor, Maine) collected a rebounded shot and beat Johnson keeper Sam Martin (Essex, Vt./Essex) to the lower right side in the 5th minute to make the score 1-0 Husson quickly. There the match would remain until 3:45 left to play in the first half when sophomore Noor Bulle (Somalia/Burlington, Vt./Burlington) scored his first goal of the season on a feed from Lucas Fitzgerald (Morrisville, Vt./Peoples) that bounded in front of the goal from right to left.

JSC would all but seal it at 80:21 when Victor Abass (Sudan/Bothell, Wash./Cedar Park Christian) scored an unassisted goal drilling a shot from the top of the penalty box that glanced off the head of a Husson defender and past keeper Mason Smith (Houma, La.).
