JOHNSON, Vt. – Johnson State College first-year men's cross country student-athlete Steven Lamonde (Hingham, Mass./Hingham) has been named North Atlantic Conference Rookie of the Week.
Lamonde, an Outdoor Education/Environmental Science major, was the Badgers top finisher at the Aldrich Invitational hosted by Middlebury College on Saturday. Lamonde came in 29th in the 75-runner race and finished the 8K course in the a time of 30:07.8. The Badgers men's team finished in sixth place in the race which was won by the host Panthers.
Lamonde and the Badgers will host the JSC Invitational this Saturday, September 22 at 10:00 am in their next meet.
