JSC Softball Earns NAC Sportsmanship Award

 

JOHNSON, Vt. - For the fifth time in eight years Johnson State College softball has named the winner of the North Atlantic Conference (NAC) Team Sportsmanship Award.

In 2011 the Badgers finished 5-21, 3-11 NAC and in seventh place in the standings, one spot short of the a NAC playoff birth.

Head Coach Robert Gervais will continue to develop some of their strong youth as five of their top six batting averages came from sophomores and freshmen while every inning pitched this season came from the same classes.
