Ferrari Named NAC Player of the Week

JOHNSON, Vt. - Johnson State sophomore forward Jennifer Ferrari (Westfield, Mass./Westfield) has been named North Atlantic Conference Player of the Week for leading the Badgers to a 3-0 record and four consecutive wins overall.

Ferrari, currently undeclared, led JSC to a wins over Vermont Tech (67-57), St. Joseph (Vt.) (64-52), and Bay Path (69-37), while averaging 22 points, 12.7 rebounds, three steals, and 1.3 blocks per game while shooting 49% from the floor.  Ferrari has five double-double's in six games on the year and highlighted her week with a 28-point, 16-rebound effort in the win over Bay Path.

For the season Ferrari is leading the North Atlantic Conference in rebounding at 12.2 per contest, is second in scoring at 18.2 points per game, tied for second in blocks with six, is fourth in steals with 11, and fifth in field goal percentage at .462.

Ferrari and Johnson State will take their 4-2 record to Norwich University on Tuesday night in their next contest with the tip scheduled for 7:00 pm.
