Junior guard Domonique Carter-Stanley and senior Allyson Bruckner were both selected to represent Johnson State in the North Atlantic Conference All-Conference honors. Carter-Stanley was named to the NAC All-Conference Second Team, while Bruckner was chosen to represent Johnson on the Sportsmanship Team.
Husson senior guard Victoria McIntyre (Mars Hill, Maine) has been selected as the North Atlantic Conference Women's Basketball Player of the Year, while Eagle junior guard Chandler Guerrette (Presque Isle, Maine) was tabbed Defensive Player of the Year and Maine Maritime freshman forward Alayne Felix(Mahopac, N.Y.) earned Rookie of the Year honors. UMaine-Farmington senior forward Elizabeth Ferry (Winslow, Maine) was voted the Senior Scholar Athlete of the Year, Husson head coach Kissy Walker was chosen as the Coach of the Year and ten women's basketball student-athletes were named to the Sportsmanship Team to headline the 2016 All-Conference announcement.
Second team selections included Castleton senior forward Bryanna duPont (Marshfield, Vt.), Husson freshman guard Kenzie Worcester (Washburn, Maine), Johnson State junior guard Domonique Carter-Stanley (Norwalk, Conn.), and New England College junior guard Marjani Lillard (Bowie, Md.) and junior forward Breana Ramirez (Paterson, N.J.).
New to the conference this season is the selection of a Sportsmanship Team which is reserved for those who have distinguished themselves through demonstrated acts of sportsmanship and ethical behavior. The honorees are individuals who have positively affected the women's basketball culture and game environment and whose behavior clearly demonstrates sportsmanship and integrity that go beyond the playing rules and etiquette. The following ten individuals have been selected to the NAC Women's Basketball Sportsmanship Team, Castleton senior Ali Jones (Poultney, Vt.), Colby-Sawyer senior Jessica Shenkel(Sharon, Mass.), UMaine-Farmington's Ferry, Green Mountain senior Torie Cowell (Rochester, N.Y.), Husson's Guerrette, Johnson State senior Allyson Bruckner (Barrnet, Vt.), Lyndon senior Aimee Thompson (Barnet, Vt.), Maine Maritime senior Rebekah Campbell (Corinth, Maine), New England College senior guard Maranda Parker (Huntsville, Utah), and Thomas junior Tess McClenahan (Salmon, Idaho).
