Rachel Chicoine is the third deposited women's basketball player for Johnson State College's 2016-17season. The 5'10" forward currently attends Rice Memorial High School and lives in Williston, Vt.

Chicoine holds her high shool record for most rebounds in one game (25) and was selected to play in the Vermont Division I North/South game her senior year. Chicoine also plays for coach Dylan Baker on McNeil's Wheels AAU team. 

"The Johnson State Women's Basketball family is very excited to have Rachel Chicoine as one of the newest member of our basketball program and student at JSC.  Rachel will be an incredible addition to the JSC community here in Johnson, Vt," said Coach Eckman. He continued, "Rachel's plan is to enter our education program.  Rachel brings great size and skills to our interior game and will continue in the line of great JSC Post players.  Rachel's ability on the floor goes well beyond her ability on the low block, as she is an amazing passer and has no problem playing at the highest levels of competition.  Rachel has been a part of an very success High School program at Rice, and through her AAU program.  We are all very excited that she is a Badger!"
