Belen, Ferrari Honored By NAC

JOHNSON, Vt. - A pair of Johnson State College soccer student-athletes have been honored by the North Atlantic Conference for their contributions last week:

Jennifer Ferrari (Westfield, Mass./Westfield) sparked Johnson State to a 2-1 week by recorded five goals in the three matches.  For her efforts Ferrari was named NORTH ATLANTIC CONFERENCE PLAYER OF THE WEEK.

Ferrari, currently undeclared, scored a goal in the Badgers 4-2 loss at home Wednesday to Norwich University.  She then tallied two scores each in wins over Daniel Webster College, 4-0, on the road on Saturday and two more in a 5-0 victory at home over Bay Path College.

Ferrari and the Badgers will play a pair of home matches this Saturday and Sunday against non-conference foes.  On Saturday JSC will see Paul Smith's College come to Johnson for a 1:00 pm kick-off while SUNY Environmental Sciences and Forestry (ESF) will visit on Sunday at 12:00 pm.
