Amber McCullock Named NAC ROTW

Amber McCullock has been named NAC Rookie of the Week

JOHNSON, Vt. - First-year women's soccer goalkeeper Amber McCullock (Morrisville, Vt./Peoples) has been named North Atlantic Conference (NAC) Rookie of the Week representing Johnson State women's soccer.

McCullock, currently undeclared, help lead Johnson to a 1-1 week by making two starts, playing all 180 minutes, making 21 saves with a .875 save percentage, and allowing only three goals. 

McCullock made nine saves in a big 2-1 win over Maine Maritime Academy on Saturday, the Badgers NAC opener, and then recorded 12 saves in a 2-0 loss to Husson University.  McCullock had a number of stellar saves in that match to keep the Badgers in it.

McCullock and the Badgers will play again on Thursday at Southern Vermont College at 4:00 pm, an non-conference match.
