JOHNSON, Vt. - Sophomore forward Chelsea Hostetter (Morrisville, Vt./Peoples Academy) had been voted North Atlantic Conference (NAC) Rookie of the Year as as to the All-Conference 1st Team.  All league coaches vote to decide the honors that were announced on Thursday.

Hostetter, an Elementary Education major, finished third in the NAC in points with 37 and tied for third in goals with 15 even after missing the final three regular-season contest with an injury.

Hostetter exploded for school-record-tying five goals on September 10 at home against Daniel Webster and then had a four-goal match on October 2 at Maine Maritime Academy, both JSC wins.

The Badgers and Hostetter finished their season with an 8-5-3 overall record as they were elminated at Colby-Sawyer College in the NAC Quarterfinals.  The teams played to a scoreless draw before C-SC advanced on penalty kicks 5-4.  Hostetter made an appearance in that match to be eligible for the shootout and as JSC's #5 shooter and calmly knocked home the PK.
