Bataille, Frawley named to NAC 2nd Team

JOHNSON, Vt. - Johnson State College women's soccer standouts Ally Bataille (Waterbury, Vt./Harwood) and Amanda Frawley (Westford, Vt./Essex) have both been voted to the 2012 North Atlantic Conference 2nd Team by the league's coaches.

Bataille, a senior physical education major, earns her third NAC 2nd Team recognition.  Bataille led Johnson in points in 2012 with 20 with seven goals and six assists.  Those six helpers tied her for second in the North Atlantic Conference.  Bataille finishes her career at Johnson with career numbers of 30 goals, 16 assists, and 76 points.  She ranks for fourth all-time at JSC in points and goals and is tied for third in assists.

Frawley, a junior psychology major, led Johnson in goals in 2012 with eight on the season to with two assists for 18 total points.  The eight scores was seventh best this season in the North Atlantic Conference.

Johnson started the season very strong running out to a 6-2 record but the team struggled in latter half of the schedule to finish the season 6-9-2 overall, 2-5-2 in the NAC.
