  • Johnson Announces Andrew Lafrenz as Head Women's Soccer Coach

    The Johnson State College athletic department has hired Johnson State College alum, Andrew Lafrenz, as the Head Women's Soccer Coach. Lafrenz replaces Kristin Cannon who served as assistant athletic director and head women’s soccer coach for three years before leaving to serve as an assistant coach with the University of Cincinnati women’s soccer program.

    At the conclusion of their season, Johnson State senior Alexa Jakiela was voted the Senior Scholar Athlete of the Year while sophomore Kylie Aither earned second team honors and Casey Hutchinson was named to the Sportsmanship Team.

    Women's Soccer traveled to Hosmer Point for their third annual preseason trip to participate in community work and team building. This year, the team painted the exterior of the dining hall and game room to prepare the camp for upcoming year.
