The National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA) annually recognizes college soccer programs that have excelled in the classroom, in addition to their work on the field. Johnson State College was one of seven North Atlantic Conference (NAC) women's teams honored with the 2014-15 Team Academic Award.
Besides Johnson, the six other NAC programs were honored, including Castleton, Colby-Sawyer, Husson, University of Maine at Farmington, New England College, and Thomas.
A total of 864 soccer teams (307 men, 557 women) posted a team grade point average of 3.0 or higher, thereby earning the NSCAA College Team Academic Award for the 2014-15 academic year.
