Women's Tennis Earns NAC Sportsmanship Award

JOHNSON, Vt. - The 2010 Johnson State women's tennis team has been recognized by the North Atlantic Conference with the Team Sportmanship Award.  The honor is voted on the league's coaches and is given to the team that best exemplies for the spirit and philosophy of Division III athletics and the North Atlantic Conference (NAC).

 

The Badgers fell in the NAC semifinals to Lyndon State to finish their season with a 2-9 overall record, 2-4 in the NAC.

 

JSC will expect to return almost all of their roster in 2011 with their only senior departing in Kim Blakeman (Scituate, Mass./Scituate) for Head Coach Michele Whitmore.
