Before NVU-Johnson... Chikava attended Hazen High School in Renton, Washington and competed for two years at the Varsity level. A defensive midfielder, who primarily plays in the center, during his senior season Chikava recorded 3 goals, 6 assists and 12 points. In 2019, his high school team won the District Championship and advanced to the Washington State 4A Boys Soccer Championships where they fell to Jackson HS. On the club scene, Chikava played in his home continent for Randburg FC located in South Africa. In the states, he has competed for Newport FC out of Bellevue, Washington and has also played in the North Puget Sound League.
