Johnson Athletics Continues to be UNITED AS ONE
August 25, 2022In partnership with NVU‘s Social Justice Coalition, Johnson Badgers Athletics will continue to keep the pledge “UNITED AS ONE”. Our partnership between SAAC and the Social Justice Coalition helps us provide all 2022-2023 student athletes and Johnson Athletic coaches with NIKE Brand “UNITED AS ONE” t-shirts, along with NUV Justice T shirts. In addition, these shirts will be available for purchase, and all proceeds will go to fundraising efforts for NVUnity (student LGBTQ+ club) and the Collation of Minority Students. -

NVU-Johnson Athletics Release State Voter Education
October 01, 2020JOHNSON, Vt.- The Northern Vermont University-Johnson Athletics Department has teamed up with the NVU-Johnson Student Government Association and the new Coalition of Minority Student-Athletes group in an effort to educate our student-athletes on the importance of voting and the education behind voter registration for each state that our student-athletes are from. With the November 3rd election day approaching, the NVU-Johnson Athletics Department is focusing on voter registration, voter education, and voter participation for all student-athletes, coaches, and staff for the general election, state elections and local elections. Included here are resources to promote voter awareness and access to education regarding state-by-state voter opportunities. -

ROUND 2 MATCHUPS SET FOR BATTLE OF THE BADGERS
April 11, 2020JOHNSON, Vt.-The 2020 BATTLE OF THE BADGERS concluded first round matchups Friday evening. In just four days a total of 756 votes were registered. The remaining eight Badgers will compete in Round Two of the BATTLE OF THE BADGERS beginning Sunday, April 12 running through Friday, April 17 at 11:59pm. You may access the voting through NVUBadgers.com as well as social media.
